Report – What to expect from it?
Adoption is a permanent and a legal process where an
individual or a couple assumes the responsibility of parenting another, usually
a child from their legal or biological parent thereby transfers all legal
rights of that child to the adoptive parents.
Steps of Adoption-
For a family which has just taken the huge decision of
having decided upon adoption; the way ahead may seem difficult. There is some
very relevant documentary work required for an adoption and even before it. One
of the most important tasks which stand out is the Adoption Home Study Report.
This is one of the most important study based on which probably an adoption
takes place.

Home Study Report-?
The Adoption Home Study Report is a comprehensive and
consolidated report compiled and created by a social worker/ Agency about the adoptive family.The Adoption Home Study
Report gives detailed studies based on authorized and recognized adoption
agencies’ findings about your eligibility as an adoptive family.An Adoption
Home Study Report ideally determines or throws light to your eligibility as a
prospective adoptive family. Documents including Birth Certificates, marriage license,
child abuse clearance, personal references are amongst some of the documents
which need to be furnished. At least one in-home visit with all the family
members present is also mandated and a part of the report.
